Sea sand collides inside four rotating cylinders. The constant rotation causes the sand to produce a sound that recalls the waves, as if the material is remembering its place of origin. The sound is never the same twice and becomes an ongoing act of remembrance. Two sandblasted aluminium sheets, curved on themselves, lie on the floor and slightly touch. Their surface recalls crumpled paper. On the wall, the leaves of a dried twig have curled inward, folding over their more vivid inner side like a shield, concealing it.
