Sleeping Baroque

2024, polyethylene, leather, brass, eyelets, buttons

Polyethylene sheets and leather were hand-shaped using heat. As they cooled, the folds stiffened, creating drapery that curls back on itself, almost entirely covering the leather interior. Each fold captures the trace of a past movement, like the creases left on an unmade bed in the morning.

Sleeping Baroque was made possible through the collaboration with Pattern Group (Luxury Fashion Engineering & Production, Turin, Italy)
